Bridal make-up.

Ok let's put it this way. I am not those girls who keluar rumah au naturel. i need to smack some foundation, and some blusher and maybe some gloss before i go out of the house if not i would feel terribly naked and very ugly. it's like a routine. no matter how late, muka mesti kene senonoh.

So when we are on the topic of bridal make up, i think its best, and more safest if i were to go with telling you guys stuffs that more or less caters more to girls who puts on make up on a daily basis. Because not all types of bridal services caters to all brides. you need to find the one that suits you the best. you need to find your most 'clicked' MUA.

Masya-allah selisihhhhh....

when i was looking around for the most suitable make-up artist (MUA) for me, all i needed to see was their past works/brides and their kening and eyeshadow. I feel that this two are indicators of how good these MUA are(i could be wrong, but that's just me). Some MUA I have been in contact with and have been for their trial make up, i swear once they showed me their finished product, i tak nak wash my face.

BUT, then again, i had a trial make up with 1 of the bridal services in Spore too. it was one of my cousins MUA and she told me that they are good yada yada yada. omg lah! i can cry looking at my face post make up. the kening looked sooo tebal. feels like there was some animal growing out of my eyebrows, the eyeshadow was toooo dark, makes me feel like i had no eyelids. they drew my lip line until my lips look so out of shape. seriously, if i had taken a picture, i would have post it, just for you to see how bad it was.

But then again, I think it's pretty unfair if i were to post 'no pretty' works of the MUA's in Spore because let's face it, what works for me might not work for you, and vice versa.


I opted for Fatimah Mohsin but found out that I wouldnt be getting her, instead one of her juniors would be my MUA. I mean its all or nthg at all for me. Either Kak Fatimah herself or forget it.

Merah Jambu TBR is awesome tooo. But while having my look look see see in the outfits, apparently, I was a bit cramped up in btw their bridals that there wasnt much choice for me to choose from. So ya, I wont settle for baju belen2.

Versari Ade is one of my reccomendations too. Their work is just nice. nthg OTT and nthg too blergh. and their bridal outfits are sooo pretty. But Kak Dee wasnt available on my date. boo-hoo.

So I guess there's nothing much that I could elaborate on bridal make up persay. I mean, whatever rocks your boat girl.


As for me, I chose Charisma Bridal, Kak Salwah to be precise. I LOVE her make up and her past brides all look soooo beautiful I can just marry them instead. The eyebrows and eyeshadow.  Though Kak Salwah did mention to me that I am blessed with normal skin and very shapeful eyebrows so there is really nthg drastic she would do to me. heh.

Nothing too much on the eyebrows. minimal eyeshadow, NO pinky pink hello kitty blusher and NO adjustments to my  lips. Nothing too many render2 or kilat on their baju. Smtg simple, and elegant. Sanggul lintang mesti!
