( my guests list apparently are mummies mostly) and considering it will be an outdoor venue and there's ample space, why not inject in some fun for the kids ey?
The Prince & Princesses Tents!
I actually bought this a few years back. It was quite expensive then, but now so cheap already la. What a waste. Bought it online and had to wait nearly a month for it to arrive only to know that you can get this OTR at Toys'R'us.
Put in some small pillows and throws. Purrr-fect for the kids!
The Arty Corner
This is where I'll throw in some drawing papers, those non-toxic crayons (nthg that stains!) and those colourful tables & chairs from IKEA.
Kids would love it right? RIGHT?
The Vintage Sweets
This was again, optional, but whilst on a short getaway to JB, Aidil and I found this store and they were selling all those vintage sweets. So i figured, the adults would probably enjoy this more than the kids. But takpelah. Got it at a very very good deal anyway. Imagine 1 box for only $0.15. Haha. So for this candy corner, while most have marsmallows and chupa chups and chocolate fondue and macaroons all that. I have pop corns, JoJo, Dingdang, ToraTora, KittyBoy, ChokiChoki and MUCH, MUCH MORE.
I say Cheesy but OK!
That's that for the Kids Corner. Nothing extravagant. I only spend around $120 to have all this. From the tents, to the pillows, to the throws, to the chairs and tables and to the sweets n chocolates catering to 200 kids, of course. :)
Itchy to BLOG! Keep viewing for more ideas!
